Joseph Giardano

Born and raised in New Jersey, Joseph began his career in hospitality at the young age of 15 stocking shelves at a gourmet Italian bakery with fresh breads, pastries, cheeses, imported meats and a full selection of imported Italian goods. After high school, he attended the Culinary Institute of America, and pursued a degree in restaurant management. He began his career at the Bistro Laurent Tourondel restaurants (BLT), followed by celebrated restaurants Atera, Rebelle, Sushi Nakazawa, Brooklyn Fare and finally L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon (part of The Bastion Collection). Joseph has been with the company ever since, helping to run Leonelli Bakery, Benno, and Bar Benno, all located in the historic Evelyn Hotel.
